Somewhat of a concept car. This one was never actually built. The original idea came from a gentleman named Bo Zollander. I just drew a pencil version of his digitally created idea.

Really Nice Looking ca, very nice pencil work Lyle!

Do you know what car/make was the staring point? Reminds me of the early 1970's & 1980's stuff, sort of a cross between BMW's & Ford Mustang's or Capri's.

Best,
Joe

Great drawing, Lyle.  Hopefully someone will carry through.  There's already going to be Mustangs and Camaros going at each other next year, a Challenger would be perfect.  No possibility of Barracuda, Javelin or Firebird though

Excellent piece of work, Lyle. We're losing so many of the great names in cars now.

I appreciate the comments lads! I know what you mean Gray. Kind of sad isn't it.
That's right Don. I've been reading the latest Road & Track, Car & Driver...etc. It seems the interest is trying to be stirred up which I hope catches fire. So far though...it doesn't seem quite the same as back in the day when I was a kid. Still, there's always hope for the gearhead future.

Thanks Joe: The motivation for Mr. Zolland in designing this was the new Challenger. I can't remember the designation but I've seen a few around town. Most are the classic Mopar orange and have 400hp (not sure about the hp. It might be a little more).

Thanks Neil! Well...I try to keep in practice no matter where I am. I'm on the phone a lot at work so there's plenty of little sketches on my desk which were turned out while yapping on the land line.
